1. Desert Festival (Jaisalmer)
Jaisalmer is a beautiful city of Rajasthan and people actually tag it ‘The Golden City of Rajasthan’. And about the Desert Festival that is celebrated in the month of February every-year, it is comprised of a lot of competitions and activities like turban tying competition, longest moustaches competition, entertaining puppet shows, folk dance competition and famous musicians participating in various folk musical recitals.

2. Nagaur Fair (Nagaur)
Nagaur fair is proclaimed to be the 2nd largest fair of India that goes on for 8 days every-year in the month of January and February. In this fair, animals are the highlights. They are so well decorated with antique accessories to lure the visitors with an intention to trade upon. The estimate boasts about trading of 70,000 bullocks, cows, camels and horses.

3. Pushkar Fair (Pushkar)
It is held in the holy city of Rajasthan- Pushkar; on the banks of the Pushkar Lake where camels, horses and cattles are traded upon. And a few adventurous competitions are endured like matka phod and balancing on camel. For tourist, it is really something.

4. Summer Festival (Mt. Abu)
It celebrates summer in its own good way in the month of June. All in all it’s a 3 day festival where the location is purely raw; tossed up between rocks and calm lake of Mt. Abu. Summer Festival is a beautiful compilation of activities like folk music and dance shows, sporting boat race on the Nakki Lake and Sham-e-Qawwali adds a variety to the festival.

5. Teej Festival (Jaipur)
It is an exclusive celebration and dedication to Goddess Parvati done in the month of July and August every-year. Women and young girls are all dolled-up beautifully with colourful clothes and accessories especially in green colour as it depicts the message of freshness around. Finely decorated swings are hung in the garden and lawns on which these ladies playfully enjoy in their own world with some singing and dancing.
